Theme: “Ministering to the whole family, so the whole family can minister”
Mission: To strengthen the families of Southpoint SDA to operate as a discipling center.
Vision: Family Ministries seeks to enable families to stretch toward divine ideals, while at the same time extending the good news of God's saving grace and the promise of growth possible through the indwelling Spirit.
Goals: It is the purpose of this ministry is to provide resources and assistance to our members and their families; offering services unique to their family structure. We also provide services to the community in the areas of family issues such as premarital guidance, marriage strengthening, and parent education. Additional attention also given to extended families, single parenting, step-families and the family needs of singles and seniors.
Planning: Each ministry will be responsible for planning and implementing programs and activities aimed at building Healthy Family Relationships; realizing that the health of the family will directly impact the health of the church family.
